Biography
I'm an artist, musician, teacher and a heartfulness trainer.
I was born in Heidelberg (Germany) and grew up in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), where I completed my studies in stage design at UNIRIO. During this period, I took drawing lessons of living model with the painter Lydio Bandeira de Mello. At the same time I also completed two semesters at the Escola Portátil de choro, where I had the great honor of meeting the grandfather, son and grandson of pandeiro players: Jorginho do Pandeiro, Celso Silva and Eduardo Silva. I left Brazil in 2015 and spent three years in India, where I worked in Kanha Shanti Vanam meditation center as a landscape designer. Currently I live in Freiburg, where I give drawing and percussion classes.
I'm also a founding member of the active music group Sambadisch (ww.sambadisch.com).
